Today is a special day

On this day, one year ago our most precious portal Solur disappeared from Kode. Sitting in the yard of an old time player, this portal supplied our players with XMPs and our skies with fields.

Those smurfs just got to stop report our portals on private property. Reporting is cheating!

The competiton starts NOW!

This competitions starts NOW and will end next Sunday at noon.

To enter the competition send us a funny, crazy, serious or odd Proof of Presence (PoP) at a portal which you just killed. A Proof of Presence is a photo of you and the portal you killed. Once the competition is over the blog will select the winner who submitted the best PoP picture during the competition week.

Steps to enter the competition:
1) Shoot or flip an enemy portal in Ingress.
2) Take a picture of yourself and the portal. You do not need to show your face if you do not want to. We know how challanged the looks of some of our players are.
3) Upload the picture to http://imgur.com (or any other free image hosting service which do not require login). On imgur.com click the top right cloud icon to upload your image (or simply download their app to make this easier).
4) Submit your entry by tagging @dogpoint in COMM in your scanner, write "PoP" and the URL to the picture. Make sure that you post it in the ALL tab. Example:



We will not be able to see untagged entries. If you fail to tag dogpoint in your entry, just post it again with the correct tag.

Rules:
The competition is open for both ENLightened and RESistance agents (We love x faction!)
An agent may supply an indefinite amount of entries
Entries that are not tagged with dogpoint will not be seen by the blog. Please make sure you tag your entries
The blog's decision of the winner is final and cannot be appealed.
This competition is not endorsed by Niantic INK, Google, Ingress or any other persons or companies than the blog itself (Best of ENL GBG), the MODS of ENL GBG and ENL Swedish High Council (not including our recently purged member ofc)
The first prize is a PoP Calendar with pictures of our most valuable agents!
The prizes may contain both real and in-game items. If you are selected as a winner the blog will need your contact information if you want to receive your prize.

After tonight's debate in comm we (the mods of ENL GBG) have come up with the following set of new rules

1. You must reso couch portal
2. No shields on portal (we can make no hack)
2. If you do shields on portal AND no reso you must faction change because you are not lagspelare!!!

You have not understood KRIGET. I noticed today that you had made a BLUE portal! We are the green team and are supposed to make portals GREEN! Get it?

Laserdome was a blue portal with 4 linkamps on it and it seems that this was because you had used a ADA on the portal!

I was now forced to stop there and shoot this portal down.

No, stahp calling me stupid. I am not stupid. I am a master strategist and I hope that one day I will rise up to level MOD in ENL GBG.

The portal was blue and that was your fault. Enough of this now.

Dear Agents skinxs and b1mb0! I've been trying to contact you on both tele (standard op sec secure channel) and in comm but to no avail. Then I got the idea that you are probably reading this blog and I now try to reach out to you here. Please stop putting resonators and linking from this portal. Operation blowstorm!

Sitrep Operation blowstorm!

Since the HUGE success we had with the link star we made in central Gothenburg we felt that it was time to do a big OP again! Since one of our agents had his home portal unjustly removed from the game we wanted revenge!

Ok, so the portal was placed on his private property.
Ok, so the "statues" in the picture was placed on his back yard for the sole purpose of submitting a portal.
Ok, so the "statues" was not even in his back yard any more.
SO WHAT! We still wanted revenge!

A plan was made and we were on our way. After doing some decoy playing around town so that no one would suspect anything we went straight for the goal! Two couch portals for one of the smurfs! Ha! That showed them! After firing our might XMP cannons the portals were soon green.

But soon after we left that basterd took the portals back! Se we drove back and shot at them again!

But.. They were soon blue again! So we came back!
Not once! Not twice! But eight times!!

Can anyone think of a better way for three legally incompetent people to spend their Friday night? Noooo?? I wouldn't think so!
