Information to all ENL agents.

When a RES agents starts talking to you regarding the bans in our faction, these are the official excuses from the ENL HC that you should use to defend our spoofers/multiaccounts:

- The agent was wrongfully banned by Nia Ops (Do not engange in discussions that every automatic ban was manually reviewed TWICE)

- The agent was banned because (s)he dropped keys to another agent (This is true. Do not drop keys to other agents. It has been confirmed that this is true)

- The agent was banned because my kids played Ingress on my phone

- The agent was mass-reported for cheating by RES and then wrongfully banned

The blog would like to make it's readers pay attention to the fact that our known spoofer asterix is now back in the game.



This former agent in the high council of ENL GBG was banned for spoofing in May (Yes, we know we supported the #freeasterisken campaign, but we received evidence that we were wrong. SORRY), and has now decided to start a second account, a clear violation of ToS which we (of course) frown upon.

We advice all ENL Agents to report the agent via the Ingress Help center.

Let's talk about cheats baby, let's talk about you and me

The blog find it a bit worrying that we (The ENL in Gothenburg) keep accusing the smurfs for cheating (Because we know. Yes, we know!) to the point that the phrase "VI VET!" (Swedish for "WE KNOW!") has become a meme among the RESistance.







Still... Even though WE KNOW, none of the RESistance agents have actually been banned.

Instead, our own players are unjustly banned  (FREE ASTERISKEN! He did not spoof! WE KNOW he did not!).


WE KNOW for sure that G*nd*r**n101 has never ever played with several accounts. Never!

The blog is quite confused about these contradictions. Please, someone, explain this to us in the comments below.

Keeping track of the enemy

Well, this was supposed to be a surprise for later on, but seeing that a few of our agents already started using the site we thought that we could talk about this now.

A few month ago the site Outgress was release and some of the ENL GBG blog crew has been a part of the development of the site. Outgress can be described as a poor man's scraper. Keeping track of Resistance agents by attack notifications. This is not a violation of the Ingress Terms of Service. Noooo! It is not considered cheating!

To make sure all of our agents are using this system, we will start listing the agents here who are already participating in Outgress:

Since Outgress is not considered cheating we see no problems with this. We are quite sure that the Resistance agents will not report the agents above for cheating.

Just like our blog entry regarding name changes, this entry will be updated as our agents contact us and asks us to enter them on the list.

Goodbye to our fallen soldier

Our campaign "Free asterisken" only just got started before asterisken got a reply from Niantic on his appeal on the ban. Later that day he issued the following statement

Nu har jag fått tänka och har bestämt mig för att inte börja spela igen. Niantic lyckades med det bloggen aldrig kom nära med. [...] Tack för gott spel.

Rought translation "I've thought about this and have decided not to start playing again. Niantic succeeded with what the blog never came close to [...] GG."

The blog is a bit curious about this statement since we have only looked out for our agents since day one. When our agents are refused representation in the sit reps, the blog is there to make it right. We will never hesitate to defend our own players or to give those damn Norwegian Vikings a good slap.

We are also curious about how asterisken would continue playing since he was banned? We would not like to believe that our dear sheriff would start a second account to keep playing since this would violate the ToS.

With that said we wish our former agent good luck with whatever projects he undertakes now. You will be missed. (No, not really!)

Asterisken was unjustly banned and we demand that Nia Ops reinstate his account! We are quite sure he never spoofed, used scrapers to hunt guardians, kicked his dog or captured Skallens Fyr (because that portal is impossible to capture).

A clarification on Niantic bans in Ingress

No Ingress player has ever been hard banned (i.e. unable to play the game) due to unfounded reports from other players.

If a players is reported by another agent and Niantic takes action, the accused player will be soft banned (i.e. can logon to the game, but is in observer mode. Hacks do not give items and XMPs do no damage). There are no known incidents where a player has been hard banned immediately due to (unfounded) reports by other players.

(Suspected) cheaters are known to be hard banned.

If you try to view the profile of a hard banned agent your scanner will display "Scanner running hot".

If no plausible explanation for a ban can be found, blame the other faction for mass-reporting.

Preposterous accusations!

Once again the smurfs shows us a new low! Today I went to shoot down one of the smurf farms. I though I shot it down yesterday, but I must have imagined that because the portals were all blue and level 8 today. You could almost think that it was one of our farms!

Anyway, I start shooting and efter I while i drop a few capsules on the ground. Everyone knows why right? You shoot faster with a light inventory. It's true. So I drop a few capsules and shoot down the rest of the portals and I pickup the capsules. Nothing strange about that! Right? It's not like I have another account with XMPs which I drop to my main account. That would be cheating!

The blog is very thankful for all the tips that our readers send us. Most of them gets published, but we have a process to check all tips which might take some time.

Unfortunately, some readers send us fake reports trying to assert theirselves.

Have you ever wondered how the RES knows about our farms every week? (No! It's not because we farm at the same place at the same time every week! STFU!)

Have you ever wondered how they always seem to have plenty of XMP cannons?

Have you ever wondered how your guardian was killed?

Have you ever thought it was suspicious how the RES are able to play when it's FREEZING outside? (And they refuse to provide us with Proof of Presence! (PoP). )

This blog have been investigating this for a long time now and today we are ready to reveal the dirty tricks of the RES. We have suspect the RES for cheat scripting from the start and our suspicions were correct. The RES are using a script called "RESwue". As you can read for youselves this script can do anything! Finding and killing guardians, farm XMPs, alerts you of BAFing, alerts you of upcoming farms. This can be confirmed by reading the comments on the script in Google Play Store:

To counter this, we (The blog 'Best of ENL GBG' and the mods of ENL GBG) have realised that it is time to stop being nice and following ToS. Raettstavaren has already closed down the official x-fac channel and more will follow.

We have started the development of ENLwue. This script will have all the features of RESwue and MORE (Auto harassment feature anyone?)

And please. Do not talk to RES about any of this. All communications between factions must go through our MODS. Do not think for yourselves. The MODS knows what is best for you.

We are waiting to publish a SITREP for the actions which took place last night. Unfortunately we cannot publish anything without proper PoP (Proof of Presence) which the agents have yet to provide.
